People often ask me why I have my own website. The story behind it is I created this site in 1999 when Tom and I became engaged. We met through work at Sun Microsystems in Broomfield, CO. I had relocated from California and Tom relocated from Maryland. We had a whirlwind romance, dating only two months before getting engaged and then were married five months after that. Since my family lives in the San Francisco bay area and Tom's family lives in Richmond, VA, I created this website to help each other's families and friends get to know us better.
Since that time, this site has morphed quite a bit into what it is today. We still live in CO near Boulder and our families still live on the East and West coasts.
